MKE Runs is proud to host TosaFest 5K for a second year, with a portion of proceeds going to our charity partner, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee's Wings of Glory youth track team. In 2018, we donated $1,000 after the race to support Wings of Glory's trips to regional and national track meets, and we look forward to increasing our support this year.

- A better-defined post-race area next to Hart Park's sand volleyball courts.
- Expanded prize packages for our fastest runners.

GREAT RACE EXPERIENCE
In addition to a great course and a rocking finish line near TosaFest, each participant will receive a race T-shirt and a TosaFest drink ticket. The 5K will be chip-timed by West Bend-based Absolute Race Timing, ensuring your results will be accurate. And if you succeed in earning a PR, come ring our PR bell.
This year's race will start in the block of 69th Street just north of the Hillcrest Drive hill and then will wind its way west to Menomonee River Parkway and back east on the Oak Leaf Trail before finishing at Hart Park for a net elevation drop of 100 feet. TosaFest this year will be set up at Hart Park this year, perfect for post-race fun. Final route is subject to change.
PRIZES AND AWARDS
Our top three men and top three women will each receive prize packages, details in the works. We also will have age group medals for Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. Awards will be presented at our post-race area just west of the sand volleyball courts in Hart Park. You must be present to receive your award. Then all our runners will be invited to check out TosaFest on the other side of Hart Park.
Early-bird packet pickup will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5. Watch for details. Race day packet pickup will be 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at race central, on the west end of Hart Park.
Parking on race day will be in various public lots around TOSA Village.
It is up to you to make it to our starting line by 5:30 p.m., but we will be assisting this year with a shuttle bus that will run every 15 minutes from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Runners are encouraged to get to the starting line early to make sure they are ready for the race start. We'll have portable toilets at the starting line.
Of course, we put in a request for great weather! But if it rains, the race will continue as planned. The race will only be canceled in cases of extreme weather, such as lightning, that make it unsafe to proceed. There will be no refunds in the unlikely event that TosaFest 5K is canceled, so we can continue to support our charity partner, Wings of Glory.
OUR CHARITY PARTNER
MKE Runs is excited to partner again with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee to support its Wings of Glory youth track club. We will donate a portion of net proceeds to help Wings of Glory fund team trips to running meets around the country. Check them out at wingsofglorytc.org.
